SUMMIT COUNTY — Despite efforts by fossil fuel industries and their powerful political allies to obfuscate, suppress, hide and otherwise deny the fact that greenhouse gases are heating the planet at an unsustainable pace, global awareness of the issue is growing. And awareness is leading to action, as an international coalition of activists and citizens joins forces today to push governments to move away from dirty fuel and toward a sustainable future. It won’t be easy, but this really is a global movement, spanning every continent, ideology and religion. It’s a global problem that can only be addressed with global action.
